Timezone

Some phones are shipped with their timezone set incorrectly. This means the time is wrong and also Daylight Saving Time (DST) is not automatic. The settings needed are:

  • Time zone: +0
  • DST: Automatic
  • Location: United Kingdom (London)

Wired Yealink phones

  1. Press Menu
  2. Press 3 (Settings)
  3. Press 1 (Basic Settings)
  4. Press 2 (Time & Date)
  5. Press 1 (SNTP Settings)
  6. Use Left and Right to set time zone to +0
  7. Press down until you are on 4
  8. Ensure DST is set to Auto
  9. Press Down until you are on 5 (Location)
  10. Use Left and Right to set location to United Kingdom (London)
  11. Press Save

Wireless Yealink phones

  1. Determine IP address of phone (MAC address is on base unit)
  2. Go to http://IP.ADD.RE.SS/ in a browser
  3. Login as admin/admin (by default)
  4. Go to Settings
  5. Go to Time & Date
  6. Set Time Zone to 0 Ireland Portugal Spain London
  7. Set Daylight Saving Time to Automatic
  8. Pick United Kingdom(London) from Location menu
  9. Click Confirm
