Sage Payroll

When installing Sage 50cloud Payroll:

• Installer can be downloaded without needing to login from here
• Do custom installation and set data path to \\apps\sage$\Sage50\PAYDATA (not \\apps\sage$\Payroll)
• Use the Base version of the app layer as this is clean without an existing installation
• Ignore warnings about disk space when updating a layer
• Reboot after installation, then:
  1. Browse to \\apps\sage$ (so that you can authenticate)
  2. Run Sage 50cloud Payroll from the desktop link. You will be prompted for activation details, these are in \\netmanager\software\SagePayroll\details.txt
  3. Pick Select an existing set of Windows data on the next window
  4. Browse to the PAYROLL.MDB file in \\apps\sage$\Sage50\PAYDATA. However, this will not work if someone already has Sage Payroll open as the file will be locked. You will need to wait until it is not in use.
