Number porting

You can keep your existing phone numbers (either individual or a DDI range). There is a one-off number porting cost to bring them into the Cloud-Hosted VoIP system.

Alternatively, you can purchase new numbers (from £7.50) which can be either geographic (any UK area code) or non-geographic (e.g. 0345).

It is often handy to purchase a new number to set the system up with so that voice menus, mailboxes, etc. can be fully-tested before your main switchboard number is ported. Once the main number has been ported, the new number can be used as a direct dial (DDI).

Older phones and devices (e.g. burglar alarms and lifts)

If you have analogue phones or alarms that have a BT-style phone socket, then an analogue telephone adapter (ATA) will allow you to connect them to the Cloud-Hosted VoIP system. The reliable and compact PTLA adaptor has the BT plug socket built directly into the adapter, enabling users to connect to our network effortlessly. Functionality has been built directly into our network, enabling users to dial simple codes to access frequently used features. Able to power up to 4 analogue devices with a max power of REN4 (ringing equivalent number), making sure all your phones will work just how they used to.

The PTLA connects via Ethernet (and 5v adapter) and operates the same as any other extension. If it needs to receive inbound calls, you may map through an external number directly to it.
